Facebook will end on March 15, 2012

Just like the false prophets’ predictions of the world coming to an end, a news came out since the third quarter of 2011 about Facebook shutting down on March 15, 2012. We’ve seen this in the past, only the announcements and word-of-mouth publicity stunts used different dates, yet we all knew that this is just another attempt to bring facebook down but with the extreme popularity of the current “king of the internet,” how can this news be true. Even publishing this hoax on local news papers won’t do.

PALO ALTO – Facebook continues to deny rumors it is shutting down on March 15th of 2012. WWN, however, has confirmed that it is true.

On January 9th, WWN’s ace reporter, J.B. Smitts, broke the international story that Facebook was going to close down on March 15th because Mark Zuckerberg wanted to return to a normal life. The story caused a worldwide sensation, and J.B. Smitts has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for breaking it.
